Dr. Shivajee Kumar is a pioneering figure in disability rights, rehabilitation, and disability sports, with an illustrious career spanning over three decades. He has empowered persons with disabilities (PwDs) through advocacy, inclusive education, policy reform, sports development, and community-based rehabilitation.

He has represented India on major global stages including the Special Olympics World Games, Paralympic Games, Asian Para Games, and at the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD).

Served as State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Govt. of Bihar. Founder & Chairman of SAMARPAN, CHILD CONCERN, and the Indian Sports Federation of CP & Autism. Past Trustee of Special Olympics Bharat and Joint Secretary of the Paralympic Committee of India.
